Mushrooms

I've been getting into needle felting. I'm amazed how the wool just transforms from a bit of fluffy fuzz to a little sculpture just by poking it with a little barbed needle (and my fingers - OUCH!).

I've made these for Katies school but I like them to much to part with them......
I will let them go eventually.

Gum Blossoms

My neighbour's gum tree is flowering. I have been watching the flowers come in to bloom over the last few weeks and the parrots have been getting stuck into the blossoms well. I have a good view of the tree when I look out my back door as it is right next to my fence. The flowers remind me of little fairy tutus.

Catching Rainbows

At the moment, the angle that the sun is in the sky provides rays of light that hit my hanging lead crystal to throw an array of beautiful rainbows in our kitchen area. It's a lovely way for the kids to greet the morning while they have their breakfast.
My eldest boy was trying to catch a rainbow and I think little Loopity Lou caught one!

Gnomes

Gnomes are working all the day

Always work and then they play

Gnomes they work with bags on backs

Then they homewards make their tracks

Been making gnomes this week for Katies school - funny looking little critters, they look a bit like ghosts without faces! (But they're cute.......)

No longer a Gummy.

Little Loopity Lou has just cut his first little tooth. I'm still breastfeeding so this will be fun! I didn't breastfeed this long with my other two.

Wee Fairy Folk

I made some little fairy people but I haven't finish them yet.

They need little acorn hats which I'm waiting for from a friend from her craft stash.

I've been too busy looking after kids, squeezing a look at blogs and Ravelry when I can. I still haven't touched my cardigan :-(
